Denim is one of those scents that’s very familiar and distinctive, yet hard to really explain the components of. In terms of scent, this spray absolutely nails in though. It’s a rich scent, with the right balance of sweetness and woodiness, and you can definitely detect the black pepper in it. Somehow it manages to smell like a Levi’s store, and makes you want to slide your legs into a brand new pair of comfortable jeans. It’s got a smart, almost aftershave-like quality to it and it could really give you a boost if you’re going out for some fun but your clothes aren’t smelling as fresh as you’d like.As a spray bottle, for a seven quid product, the bottle does feel a tiny bit cheap though. The mister isn’t as effective as soon, and if you’re not careful- and possibly even if you are careful- it’s possible to end up putting damp patches on your clothes with it, instead of misting it. It’s also a flimsy, slightly squeezable bottle with a loose lid, so I wouldn’t want to put it into a holiday suitcase without protection as I suspect it would probably leak all over my passport. In an ideal world, this scent would also have just a little bit more longevity too. A couple of hours after spraying, it’s only very faintly detectable on clothes. I’ve used other fabric freshening mists in the past that have lasted a little longer. It is a lovely scent though, and a quick and easy way to make your old jeans or jacket feel like new jeans or a new jacket, and perk yourself up and feel a little smarter in the process.
